About
A free U.S. weather dashboard with no ads and no accounts.
Hazards Now shows current conditions, forecasts, radar, alerts and more for places across the United States, built from public data. It is run by Seth Machen as an independent project.
What is on the site
- Weather: a full-screen radar and forecast map with current conditions, a plain-language summary, and hourly and 7-day forecasts.
- Hazards: one map where you switch on what you want to see: storm outlooks, warnings, hurricanes and river levels, air quality, smoke and wildfires, drought, and earthquakes, with the details for each beside it.
- Sun & Moon: where the sun is now, sunrise, sunset, golden hour, moon phases and daylight through the year.
- History & Stats: how the last 30 days compare with normal, and this date across the past 30 years.
- Alerts: free notifications and daily or weekly reports on this device.
Where the data comes from
Almost everything comes from U.S. government sources such as the National Weather Service. See the full list with licenses on the data sources page.
